FARIBAULT, MINN. – On Tuesday night, the Vegas Golden Knights increased their Shattuck-St. Mary’s connection by one as former Sabre goaltender Oscar Dansk made his first NHL start with the league’s newest team.
Dansk, who attended Shattuck-St. Mary’s for three years, stopped 29 shots in the Knights’ 4-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks.
“We as a school and hockey program are very proud of Oscar. He is extremely focused and it was only a matter of time before he received this opportunity. All our current and alumni goalies are excited for him,” said Dansk’s former goaltending coach Des Christopher.
