New Synchronized Skating Coach Announcement!

Shattuck-St. Mary's School is pleased to officially announce the appointment of Miami of Ohio Co-Captain, Alana Christie, as the newest member of SSM’s figure skating coaching team.

Alana, a recent NCAA Division I Varsity graduate, has represented Miami University Senior Varsity Synchronized Skating Team & Team USA for the last 4 years. She has traveled both nationally and internationally to represent both her team and the United States. The team’s many successes include:  2015 & 16 U.S. World Team; 2016 U.S. National Championships (Gold Medal); 2015 U.S. National Championships (Silver Medal); 2015 Mozart Cup, Austria (Bronze Medal); 2014 U.S. National Championships (Pewter Medal); 2014 Mozart Cup, Austria (Pewter Medal); 2013 U.S. World Team; 2013 U.S. National Championships (Silver Medal); 2013 Leon Lurje Trophy, Sweden (Bronze Medal).  

The 2016/17 season is shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet, with new goals of fielding Novice and Junior Teams! Coach Christie has a wealth of experience which she is keen to share with Team Sabres. Welcome Alana Christie!
