Varsity Soccer Struggles in Season Start

FARIBAULT, MINN. - The Varsity Soccer lost 0-3 last Friday, September 15, against Liberty Classical Academy and 0-7 on Tuesday, September 19 in their match against International School of Minnesota. Despite the losses, there are many positive things that we can point to from these two games.

On Friday, it was an even game, and the score was 0-0 for the first half. The reason we lost is that our players are not fit enough to play 80 minutes game. But we believe that this will not happen again after a few days of hard practice.

The team we played on Tuesday is one of the best teams we are going to play against in this season. We did not score any goals, but we did have many good chances. We had one shot that hit the post, and five shots that were stopped by their well-trained goalkeeper. So, we still had many of our moments in this game.

Our next game will be a home game this Friday against Calvin Christian at 5 p.m. We hope our students will come to support us. See you there.
